 If a new strut rod is mounted on a previous wheel carrier version (dia. of mounting hole in the wheel carrier approx. 13.5 mm), it is essential to mount the sleeve (3h) in the wheel carrier in order to achieve a reduction in dia. to approx. 12.2 mm

Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.

Torque strut

 Model 129, 170, 202, 208 removal: Before pulling out the hexagon bolt on the rear axle carrier, press the wheel carrier forwards - relieve the load.
