Pushing off
1 Detach self-locking nut from tie rod joint (4c).
2 Remove cable holder.
3 Mount thrust piece (098).
4 Press off tie rod joint (4c) using puller (097).
Do not damage the rubber boot when pressing off.
5 Remove puller (097) and thrust piece (098).
6 Clean tapered connection.
7 Replace cable holder.
8 Replace self-locking nut and tighten with .
If necessary, counterhold ball head using Allen wrench.
