Replace pressure plate nut (1) and spring bearing pin (4).

 Only if the pressure plate nut (1) and spring bearing pin (4) were not replaced immediately beforehand. Do not yet tighten the pressure plate nut (1).

Unfasten pressure plate nut (1).

 Only if the pressure plate nut (1) and spring bearing pin (4) were replaced immediately beforehand.

Slide thrust plate (2) forwards or backwards until the specified angular alignment of the axle is adjusted.

 Due to an elongated hole in the axle brackets (3) it is possible to slide the spring bearing bolts (4) by 6 mm.

Tighten pressure plate nut (1) to specified tightening torque. 

 Before tightening the pressure plate nut (1) set the normal driving level.
This prevents damage to the bushings.

 If necessary, counterhold spring bearing bolt (4). The threaded connection should be checked annually for strength with the specified test torque. On vehicles with aggravated operating conditions the check should be carried out at correspondingly shorter time intervals.
