Install the inner nut while simultaneously turning the wheel hub.

Apply a few strikes on the wheel hub with a bronze hammer.

Tighten the inner slotted nut with the  claw wrench to the specified tightening torque and then, loosen it in the specified angle.Rear axles 743.3 

Install a new lock plate

Install and tighten the outer nut with the  claw wrench to the specified tightening torque.

Install the  dial indicator holder and the  dial indicator.

Check the axial clearance moving the wheel hub in and out. . 

If the end play is out of the specified values



Adjust by tightening or loosening the outer slotted nut.

Confirm the end play again

If the end play is correct



Fold the edges of the lock plate over the two slotted nuts, inner and outer.
