	Removing
1	Remove rear road wheels.		AR40.10-A-1100A
2	Remove brake drum		AR42.10-A-1010A
3	Remove rear axle shaft		AR35.30-A-0620A
4	Remove rear wheel hub		AR35.20-A-0310A
	Disassemble
5	Remove lug bolt (5)	 Do this by using a suitable brass punch to knock the lug bolts (5) out of the rear wheel hub (6).
6	Remove outer race (7) of outer tapered roller bearing		*000589163300
7	Remove oil retainer (1)	 Use a suitable drift to remove the oil retainer (1) from the rear wheel hub (6).
8	Remove radial seal (2)	Using an assembly lever carefully remove the radial sealing ring (2) from the rear wheel hub (6).
9	Remove inner race with roller set (3) of inner tapered roller bearing	 If the inner race with roller set (3) of the inner tapered roller bearing was not detached with the rear wheel hub (6) from the axle tube, the inner race with roller set (3) of the inner tapered roller bearing must be detached from the axle tube using a puller.

10	Remove outer race (4) of inner tapered roller bearing		*000589163300
	Checking
11	Clean all parts and check for wear.	 Worn parts should be replaced. Tapered roller bearings are always replaced in pairs.
	Assemble
12	Install outer race (4) of inner tapered roller bearing	 Drive outer race (4) of inner tapered roller bearing all the way in.

13	Install inner race with roller set (3) of inner tapered roller bearing	 Grease inner race with roller set (3) before installation.
		MB multipurpose grease	*BR00.45-Z-1017-06A
14	Press in new radial sealing ring (2) flush with rear wheel hub (6)	 Coat outer circumference of new radial sealing ring (2) with sealant.	*BR00.45-Z-1012-01A
		Lightly grease lip.	*BR00.45-Z-1017-06A

15	Install lug bolt (5)	 Drive the lug bolts (5) into the rear wheel hub (6) using a suitable brass punch. The flattened side of the lug bolts (5) must point towards the collar of the rear wheel hub (6).
16	Install oil retainer (1)	 Coat the contact surface of the oil retainer (1) with sealing compound.	*BR00.45-Z-1012-01A
17	Install outer race (7) of outer tapered roller bearing	 Using a suitable drift, drive the outer race (7) of the outer tapered roller bearing all the way in.
18	Fill rear wheel hub (6) with specified quantity of grease		*BF35.20-N-1001-01B
	Install
19	Install rear wheel hub		AR35.20-A-0310A
20	Install rear axle shaft		AR35.30-A-0620A
21	Install brake drum		AR42.10-A-1010A
22	Fit rear wheels		AR40.10-A-1100A
