1	Remove front axle shaft	Left front axle shaft
		Model 169, 245 except 169.090	AR33.30-P-0620AK
		Model 169.090	AR33.30-P-0620AKL
		Right front axle shaft
		Model 169, 245 except 169.090	AR33.30-P-0620AL
		Model 169.090	AR33.30-P-0620AKR
2	Clamp front axle shaft into vise	 Use protective jaws.
3	Detach hose clamp (4, 5)
4	Cut open boot (3) and detach.
5	Mark joint hub (8), ball retainer (6) and inner spider (7) in relation to each other
6	Detach joint hub (8)
7	Remove balls from ball retainer (6)
8	Detach inner spider (7) from shaft (1) using suitable drift
9	Detach ball retainer (6) from inner spider (7)
10	Remove circlip (2).
11	Check joint hub (8), ball retainer (6), inner spider (7) and balls for signs of wear	 Replace front axle shaft if damaged.	AR33.30-P-0660-03AK
	Install
12	Install circlip (2).	 Install new retaining ring (2).
13	Push hose clamp (4) onto the shaft (1)
14	Push boot (3) onto the shaft (1)
15	Insert inner spider (7) into ball retainer (6)
16	Push inner spider (7) onto the shaft (1)
17	Insert balls into ball retainer (6) and grease	 Use grease from the repair kit.
18	Push joint hub (8) onto the shaft (1)	 Observe installation position.
19	Fill boot (3) and joint hub (8) with remaining grease	 Use grease from the repair kit.
20	Push boot (3) onto joint hub (8), align and fix with hose clamps (4, 5)	 When aligning the boot (3) pay attention to assembly dimension (a).
		Ensure that the hose clamps (4, 5) are seated properly. Press together hose clamps (4, 5) to size (X) of 4 to 5 mm.
