Removing

1 Take out circlip (35a) for grooved ball bearing (35) using pliers .

Replace deep-groove ball bearing in intermediate shaft

2 Detach grooved ball bearing (35) using puller (035).

Replace deep-groove ball bearing in intermediate shaft

Install

3 Check circlip (35) and replace if necessary.

Ensure correct seat in groove.

4 Press in grooved ball bearing (35) using press.

For this purpose the grooved ball inner race must be underlaid with a shim.

5 Insert circlip (35a) for grooved ball bearing (35) using pliers .

Ensure correct seat in groove.
