	Removing
1	Place chocks in front of and behind the rear wheels
2.1	Raise vehicle at front axle	 Position stands under the trellis frame side member and lower vehicle onto stands.	AR00.60-T-1000-02A

2.2	Jack up vehicle at center axle	Model 671.312/ 322/ 327
		 If the front axle is raised more than 720 mm, the center axle must be raised as well.
3	Remove wheels		AR40.10-T-1100A
4	Press off brake drum with two bolts	 Mark position of brake drum relative to hub with a punch mark.	AR42.10-T-1010A
5	Unscrew wheel hub cap (1) from front wheel hub
6	Slacken locking bolt on clamping nut (2)
7	Unscrew clamping nut (2) and remove thrust washer (3)
8	Removing front wheel hub		*035589013300
		 If bearings are tight, use puller with gripper. 

	Install
9	Screw front wheel hub onto steering knuckle using special tool (5)		*389589004300
10	Drive in outer tapered roller bearing	 Grease tapered roller bearing.	*BR00.45-Z-1001-06A

11	Fit thrust washer (3)	 Ensure that the flat surface on the inside diameter of the thrust washer is aligned with the flat surface on the steering knuckle.
12	Screw on clamping nut (2) as far as the stop and tighten the clamping nut (2) by spinning the wheel hub		*BA33.20-N-1003-01D

13	Slacken clamping nut (2) slightly and pull out front wheel hub	 Until there is some play.
14	Attach magnetic holder with dial gauge (6) and position probe of dial gauge on end face of steering knuckle		*363589022100

15	Ascertain wheel bearing play by rocking the front wheel hub firmly back and forth
16	Adjust wheel bearing play	 Adjust the wheel bearing play to the specified value by slackening or tightening the clamping nut (2).	*BE33.20-N-1001-01D
17	Secure clamping nut (2) by tightening the locking bolt		*BA33.20-N-1002-01D
18	Fill wheel hub cap (1) with grease and screw on	 Check gasket and replace if necessary.	*BF33.20-N-1001-01D

19	Push on brake drum	 Observe markings and clearance. With the special version of ABS: Ensure the correct seat of the sensor by pressing in the sensor all the way. The distance between sensor and the rotor is set automatically by the wheel bearing play.	AR42.10-T-1010A
