Removal and installation



The shock absorber must be installed for removing the upper wishbone

 Installation

Replace self-locking bolts and nuts

Unscrew nut (6c)



Screw thrust piece (043a) onto the ball pivot of the follower joint



Press follower joint out of upper wishbone (6) using puller (043)

 Clean tapered connection.

Using a wire (arrow), secure steering knuckle to the shock absorber to prevent it from tilting away

 Do not tension brake hose and electrical cables.

Remove windshield washer system reservoir

Left-hand side

5.2

Remove upper left wishbone from frame

 Remove plastic cover in wheel house and steady nut using a suitable box wrench.

  Tighten nut in the ready-to-drive condition.

Remove air cleaner

Right-hand side

Remove upper right wishbone from frame

 Remove plastic cover in wheel house and steady nut using a suitable box wrench.

  Tighten nut in the ready-to-drive condition.

Check follower joint
