Pushing off

1 Swivel steering knuckle (5) outward.

Do not subject the electrical feed lines (1) to pulling forces, otherwise they will be damaged.

2 Loosen nut (7b) by several threads.

3 Pry supporting joint (7) out of lower transverse control arm (17) using puller (045) and press (044).

4 Remove puller (045) and press (044).

5 Unscrew nut (7b) and remove supporting joint (7).

Attaching

6 Clean cone on lower transverse control arm (17) and supporting joint (7).

The conical joint must be free of oil and grease.

7 Replace nut (7b) and attach supporting joint (7) to lower transverse control arm (17) .
