Pry off supporting ball joint
1 Unscrew self-locking nut from supporting ball joint (7) in steering knuckle (5).
2 Attach thrust piece (07a).
3 Use puller (07) to pry off supporting joint (7).
4 Remove puller (07) and thrust piece (07a).
Attach supporting ball joint
5 Clean tapered connection.
The cone and thread must be free of grease and oil
6 Replace self-locking nut and observe tightening torque.
