Remove retaining ring (9p) from steering knuckle (5)

Press out angular contact ball bearing (9n)

Installation: The pulse ring (encoder) for the rpm sensor is integrated into the angular contact ball bearing (9n). For this reason, it is important to make sure that the installation position of the angular contact ball bearing (9n) is correct. The points, the "Inside" inscription, or the black inner ring on the angular contact ball bearing (9n) must point towards the inside of the steering knuckle (5).
The marking is manufacturer specific. The magnetic side of the angular contact ball bearing (9n) must point towards the inside of the steering knuckle (5).
If incorrectly fitted, the rpm sensor will not detect any pulse signals.

Detach bearing inner race from front axle shaft flange (9)

Only removal and when reusing the front axle shaft flange (9)

Install in the reverse order
