1 To measure the wheel bearing play, position the dial gauge (2), dial gauge stand (1) and extension (3) against the face of the wheel hub and pull the wheel forcefully back and forth to determine the play.

The wheel bearing play can be changed by slackening or tightening the clamping nut (4). Always tighten the screw on the screw clamp (4) before attempting to measure the wheel bearing play.

2 Secure clamping nut (4) by tightening Fillister head bolt with Allen wrench (5).

Pay attention to tightening torque.
