1 Measure wheel bearing play, to do this mount the dial indicator (1), dial indicator holder (3) and extension (2) on the wheel hub on the end face and determine the wheel bearing play by pulling to and fro firmly. The wheel bearing play can be changed by loosening or tightening the clamp nut (4) The wheel bearing play may only be measured when the screw on the clamp nut (4) is tightened.
