Measure wheel bearing play at front wheel hub, adjust

D33.20-0015-01

1 Mount special tool(1, 2) on end face of wheel hub (6).

2 Tighten safety screw (a) of clamp nut (10) .

3 Pull the wheel hub (6) to and fro firmly and read off the wheel bearing play on the dial indicator.

4 If necessary loosen safety screw and change the wheel bearing play by loosening or tightening the clamp nut (10).

5 Retighten safety screw (a) and measure wheel bearing play again.
The wheel bearing play may only be measured when the safety screw is tightened.
