Remove/install Distronic sensor (DTR)

Disconnect/connect ground line on battery



Removal

Open engine hood and raise to vertical position

Remove radiator grill

Pry off left and right expansion clips from radiator grill.

Disconnect electrical connector (1) and electrical connector (2) at DTR radar sensor (B29)

Remove DTR radar sensor (B29)

 Remove bolts (3) in stages, otherwise plastic bracket could be destroyed.



Install

Install DTR radar sensor (B29)

 Screw in bolts (3) loosely only, bolts (3) are also adjusting bolts and are not screwed tight.

Separate electrical connector (1) and electrical connector (2) at DTR radar sensor (B29)

Check / adjust the sensor setting of Distronic (DTR)

Fit radiator grill

Close engine hood
