S 55.1 Microswitch connector

1 | Remove footwell cover on driver side | ||
2 | Unplug connector (S 55.1) | ||
3 | Detach retracting spring at emergency clutch pedal and remove | ||
4 | Unscrew nut M8 at emergency clutch pedal and remove emergency clutch pedal | Pay attention to shim. | |
5 | Drive microswitch (S 55) out of emergency clutch pedal using a suitable drift | The microswitch (S 55) is affixed to the emergency clutch pedal. | |
Installation: Clean mounting hole of microswitch (S 55) at emergency clutch pedal. | |||
Following installation in the emergency clutch pedal, affix both catches of new microswitch (S 55) (1 drop per catch). | |||
