1 Clamp rear bearing cap in vise.
Use protective jaws.
2 Unlock nut, attach pin wrench (arrow) and unscrew nut.

3 Pull off output flange using puller .

4 Remove output shaft (arrow).
5 Remove both shaft seal rings if necessary.

6 Remove thrust washer, tapered roller bearing and shim.

7 Press out front outer race of tapered roller bearing, shim and oil pump.
Pay attention to woodruff key on oil pump.
