1 Manual transmission in neutral position, shift transfer case to "S" and raise left front wheel.
2 Detach propeller shaft (arrow) from front axle, turning left front wheel.
3 Tie up propeller shaft to side.

4 Unlock nut and attach pin wrench (arrow).

5 Remove nut with pin wrench and wrench socket .
So that the nut can be loosened more easily the transfer case should be shifted into 1st gear, the transfer case shifted to GA position and the brake operated.

6 Pull off front axle output flange with puller .
