1 Clean sealing surfaces of transmission cover (15) and rear section of transmission housing.

 The sealing surface must be free of oil and grease.

2 Press ball bearing (15d) into transmission cover (15) using a suitable tool.

 The ball bearing (15d) can be mounted easily on account of the slight overlap.

3 Insert output shaft of rear axle drive (13) in transmission cover (15).

4 Coat the circumference of the new O-ring (13a) with automatic transmission fluid (ATF).

5 Insert O-ring (13a).

6 Mount circlip (15c).

 The circlip (15c) must be mounted so that the oil hole (arrow) is not concealed.

7 Coat lip of new radial sealing ring with automatic transmission fluid (ATF).

8 Press radial sealing ring into transmission cover (15) using  drift (033).

9 Coat sealing compound on the sealing surface of the rear section of the transmission housing (16b).

10 Fit transmission cover (15)  .
