1 | Raise vehicle on four-post lifting platform | The vehicle must be horizontal and standing on its wheels. | |
2 | Move selector lever (33) to position "D" | Have a second person hold selector lever (33) at position "D" throughout adjustment work. | |
3 | Mount rod head (98) on intermediate lever (97) and secure with clip | | |
4 | Insert shift rod (63) into head (98) | | |
5 | Attach selector lever (33) and secure with clip | ||
6 | Tighten bolt (99) | To tighten, push against head (98); do not twist shift rod (63) and head (98) when doing so. Do not move selector lever (33) out of position "D". | |
