Remove floor selector

Remove front center console

Unscrew bolts (8, 9)

Detach cable tie (arrow) from hose (11) and pull hose (11) off air conditioner housing

 Only vehicles with air conditioning (code H06).

Installation: Replace cable tie.

Pull seal boot (2) out of firewall

 Installation: Ensure that seal boot (2) is seated correctly.

Attach removal fixture for front axle carrier on front axle carrier

Lifter mounting adapter

Remove bolts on both sides

 Installation: First fit all the bolts, then tighten them fully.



Lower engine with front axle carrier

 Carefully lower the front axle carrier with the engine up to a maximum of
80 mm.

When lowering check for unobstructed movement of coolant hoses, air-conditioning hoses and electric cables, in order to avoid causing any damage.

 Installation: Guides at the front axle carrier must be inserted into the holes in the longitudinal member.

Pay attention to guides at radiator

Detach front axle carrier removal device from front axle carrier

Move range selector lever (4) to position "P"

Unclip range selector cable (1) from range selector lever (4)

 Installation: Grease ball joint lightly.

Lower the lifting platform

Unscrew bolt (7) and remove range selector cable bracket (3) towards the front



Lift strut (10) using assembly lever and remove range selector cable (1) towards the passenger compartment

 Pass bracket (3) with range selector cable (1) through the opening in the firewall (with an assistant).

Install in the reverse order

Read out fault memory



Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory
