Remove:
1 Mount grab handles (1) on the torque converter (2).

2 Pull out torque converter (2).

Install:
3 Coat the outside of the drive flange (arrow) with long-life grease, slide on torque converter (2) and detach grab handles (1).

4 Measure distance "A" from torque converter to transmission housing.

6 Turn torque converter (2) so that one of the three tapping plates (arrow) points downwards. Lightly grease bearing journal (3).
This installation position of the torque converter makes it easier to install the bolts securing the driving plate to the torque converter.
