Note:
- The basic position of the shift shaft (1) with respect to the pivot (A) remains unchanged. The following checks and adjustments are only performed on shift shafts (2) and (3).
- The shift shaft (3) must be detached from the pivot (B).
Checking
1 Shift transmission to neutral and fix gearshift lever (4) in vertical position.
2 Remove floor panels in central aisle.

3 Check whether the angle between the imaginary center line of the lever arm (5) and the threaded rod (6) is a right angle (α).
If the measured angle is less or greater than 90°, adjust the shift shaft (2)
(steps 4 - 7).
Adjusting
4 Twist the shift shaft (2) using the hexagon on the threaded rod (6).
The angle between the lever arm (5) and the threaded rod (6) must be a right angle (α).
Retighten the lock nuts on the threaded rod after making adjustments.

5 Perform steps 3 - 4 on pivot (B).
6 Attach shift shaft (3) to pivot (B).
Twist the ball head if necessary so that it can be inserted into the extension arm easily.
7 Connect shift shaft (3) with threaded rod (6).
Twist the lower ball socket on the threaded rod (6) if necessary so that it forms a right angle with the lever arm of the shift shaft (3).
Retighten lock nuts after making adjustments.
