Remove/install

Remove cover over right connector on transmission

Model 901, 902, 903, 904

Installation: During installation insert the lug on the cover from above.

Remove hydraulic pump cover on left side of transmission

Model 203, 208, 209 with gasoline engine

Disconnect electrical connector at plug (6)

Switch ignition on and shift through all gears until transmission is pressureless.

Model 901, 902, 903, 904 up to vehicle ident. end no. 159192

Model 203, 208, 209

Use DAS to read out and check hydraulic pressure.

Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory

Reduce hydraulic pressure using STAR DIAGNOSIS

Rotate connector (6) by 45° and remove from bracket together with plug attachment (7)

6.1

Release detent on plug retainer (7) and detach from plug (6)

Only when new hydraulic pump (2) is installed.

Remove electrical wiring harness (5) (arrows) and remove obstructions to access as far as hydraulic pump (2)

Installation: Route electrical line for hydraulic pump (2) in the groove of the electrical wiring harness (5).

Remove pressure line (1) from hydraulic pump (2)

Detach hydraulic pump (2)

Installation: Route electrical line between transmission housing and hydraulic pump (2). Do not allow electrical line to get caught in moving parts.

Disconnect intake line (3)

Install in the reverse order

Check, correct the hydraulic fluid level
