1 | Disassemble transmission | ||
2 | Remove cylindrical roller bearing cage (7) | ||
3 | Remove circlip (1). | ||
4 | Press compensating ring halves (2) out of groove and remove | ||
5 | Pull off cylindrical roller bearing (3) of input shaft (4) together with toothed lock washer (5) | | |

6 | Press off flanged washer (6) | The flanged washer is part of the cylindrical roller bearing inner race. | |
7 | Clean all parts, check for wear and replace parts if necessary. | ||
| Assemble | ||
Danger! | Risk of injury to skin and eyes caused by handling hot or glowing objects. | Wear safety gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses, if necessary. | |
8 | Slide flanged washer (6), cylindrical roller bearing (3) and toothed lock washer (5) in sequence onto input shaft (4) | Heat up the cylindrical roller bearing, toothed lock washer and flanged washer to approx. 120 °C. | |
9 | Drive compensating ring halves (2) into the groove | ||
10 | Install circlip (1). | After fitting, peen the collar of the circlip over at 3 - 4 points. | |
11 | Fit cylindrical roller bearing cage (7) | ||
12 | Assemble transmission |
