Disassembling
1 Take the sliding sleeve (5) out of the synchroniser body (1).
Pay attention to the balls that drop!
2 Take the springs (2) out.
3 Remove the safety ring (4).
Assembling
4 Press the sliding sleeve (5) onto the synchroniser body, making sure the groove (arrow) coincides with 5th gear.
There is a machined group with three teeth on the sliding sleeve (5).
The tooth with the deepest notch (arrow) on the sliding sleeve (5) must be placed in the centre of the notch of the synchroniser body (1).
5 Insert the springs (2) into the synchroniser body (1).
6 With a suitable tool, compress the springs (2) and insert the balls.
7 Install the safety ring (4).
8 Couple the sliding sleeve (5) in neutral position.
