Mount transmission onto assembly device and place transmission in vertical position

Detach air line (9) from countershaft brake (2)

Detach countershaft brake (2) from transmission

Remove shims (4)

Remove sealing rings (3, 7) at transmission



Install

Determine shims (4) for countershaft

 The shims (4) are used to adjust the bearings of the countershaft.

 Screw/bolt, compressed air line to countershaft brake

 Preload of bushings on drive shaft and countershaft for determining shims

Insert new sealing rings (3, 7) at transmission

Install determined shims (4) in countershaft brake (2)

Coat screws/bolts (1) with sealant and mount countershaft brake (2) at transmission

 The oil grooves (arrows) of the brake disks (8) must line up.

 Screw/bolt, compressed air line to countershaft brake
