Remove

Remove range group.

Assemble (A) hollow-piston cylinder (1) and pull-off device (2) then screw into oil restrictor (69).

 Check pull-off device (2) is correctly seated.

Pull oil restrictor (69) out of main shaft (5).



Clean

Clean bore in main shaft (5).

Assembly cleaner

Install

Assemble (B) hollow-piston cylinder (1), insertion device (2) and oil restrictor (69).

 Check insertion device (2) is correctly seated.

Position oil restrictor (69) flush on to main shaft (5) and press in.


The specified pressure in the tables must be observed.
If the pressure is exceeded, the thread of the oil restrictor (69) or the insertion device (2) may be damaged.

Remove hollow-piston cylinder (1) and insertion device (2) from oil restrictor (69).

Remove oil pipe (70) and retaining ring (71) from planet carrier (72).

Only when an oil pipe (70) is installed.

 The oil pipe (70) and the retaining ring (71) are no longer required because of a technical modification.

Install range group.
