Disassemble

1 Observe the marking on the synchronizer hub (2) and on the synchronizer sleeve (3) to maintain the same position as at disassembly.

2 Remove the lock-ring (1) from the lamellae (4), in both sides.

3 Remove the lamellae (4).

4 Remove the synchronizer hub (2).

Assembling

5 Install the synchronizer hub (2) in the synchronizer sleeve (3), observing the positioning markings (selective adjusting).

6 Install the lamellae (4), observing their correct positioning in the respective recesses.

7 Install the lock-rings (1) of the lamellae (4), in both sides.

The two turned tips of the lock-rings will have to be lodged between the lamellae with opposed openings.
