Remove

1.1

Remove hydraulic pump (15).

On power take-off with hydraulic pump

Remove bearing housing (14).

For power take-off with output flange

Remove power take-off 2 shift housing (3).

 Collect transmission oil which flows out in a suitable vessel.



Disassemble

Unscrew power take-off 2 indicator switch (S3) then remove sealing ring (6).

Remove pressure pin (4) from power take-off 2 shift housing (3).

Remove shift cylinder with solenoid valve (13) and shift rod with piston (10).

Remove screw plug (1) and remove spring (2).

Remove shift fork (8) and sliding sleeve (17) from power take-off 2 shift housing (3).

Remove bushing (7).

Assemble

Install bushing (7) using a suitable drift.

Slide shift fork (8) into radial groove of sliding sleeve (17) and insert sliding sleeve (17) into power take-off 2 shift housing (3).

 The collar of the sliding sleeve (17) must point toward the drive side.

Install shift cylinder with solenoid valve (13) and shift rod with piston (10).

 Install new seal (12).

Insert spring (2), coat screw plug (1) with thread locking compound, screw in flush to sealing surface and tighten through approx. 900, until there is a recess of approx. 0.3 mm.

Quick-acting adhesive, Loctite 270

Coat pressure pin (4) with lubricant and insert into power take-off 2 shift housing (3).

Long-life grease

Install power take-off 2 indicator switch (S3).

 Replace compression ring(6).

 Indicator switch to shift housing

Install

Position power take-off 2 shift housing (3).

Install hydraulic pump (15).

On power take-off with hydraulic pump

Install bearing housing (14).

For power take-off with output flange

 Nut, second power take-off to power take-off

Check transmission oil level, correct, if necessary.
