1 Measure the distance "A" from the countershaft front until the lock ring (32) .
2 Measure the distance "B" from the countershaft front until the bearing outer race (33).

3 Measure the distance “C” from the upper edge until the bearing seat in the gearbox cover.
4 Measure the distance “D” from the lower edge until the sliding axle (23) in the gearbox cover.

5 Example of calculation to determine the effective value of axial clearance:
Measurement "E" = Measurement "B" - Measurement "A"
Measurement "E" = 16,40 mm - 16,30 mm
Measurement “E” = 0,10 mm
Measurement "F" = Measurement "D" - Measurement "C"
Measurement "F" = 15,00 mm - 14,40 mm
Measurement “F” = 0,60 mm
Effective value = Measurement “F” + Measurement “E”
Effective value = 0,60 mm + 0,10 mm
Effective value = 0,70 mm

Adjustment washers = effective value - permitted axial clearance
Adjustment washers = 0,70 mm - 0,10 mm

The adjustment washers are provided in the following thicknesses: 0,20; 0,30 mm.
