Press-in the piston rod (1) against stop. The sliding sleeve will have to remain seated on the synchronizer ring.

 The cover of the input shaft bearing will have to be assembled with the compensating washers.

 The pass-through pin, closing the split group, will have to be installed.

With the depth gage (3) measure from the machined surface to the collar (2) of the piston rod (1) = Measurement A .

With the depth gage (3) measure from the machined surface to the collar (4) on the gearbox front part = Measurement B .

Calculate the compensating washer. . 

 Measure A - Measure B = Measure X

 The required compensating washer will have to be thinner than the X measurement in a value equivalent to the specified adjusting measurement.

Install the shift piston.
