Assembly tool
Before installing, coat all moving parts and cylinder surfaces with synthetic grease.
1 | Install sealing rings (21) in shift cover on both sides using assembly tool. |
2 | Install brass ring (20) in shift cover using assembly tool. |
3 | Insert guide piece (16). |

4 | Slide bearing bracket (14) and selector finger (18) onto shift shaft and install roll pin (17). |
The selector finger (18) must be offset by 180° relative to the gearshift lever of the shift shaft. |
5 | Insert gate locking bow (19). |

6 | Insert shift shaft (15) with bearing bracket (14) into guide piece (16) and install . |
7 | Check that the shift shaft (15) can move freely. |
8 | Install thrust rod (7). |

13 | Perform function test; to do so, apply compressed air to gate cylinder (6) (arrow). |
The compression spring must push the piston back into the starting position. |

14 | Mount boot (22) on piston rod (11). |
15 | Coat piston rod (11) with synthetic grease and screw on protective sleeve. |
16 | Install piston rod (11), pull boot (22) onto shift cover (1) and unscrew protective sleeve again. |

19 | Coat thread of piston rod with thread locking compound and install range cylinder piston (10) using puller . |
20 | Mount rubber sealing ring (5) on range cylinder piston (10). |

22 | Install shift cylinder (9). |
The beveled side (arrow) must point toward the shift cover. |

23 | Install new sealing ring between shift cylinder cover (8) and shift cylinder. |
24 | Install shift cylinder cover (8) . |
25 | Apply compressed air to piston via compressed air connection (arrow) and check shift function. |
The piston rod must move in and out during the check. |
26 | Detach shift cover from mount. |
