Remove/install

Discharge compressed-air system.

 See information from body manufacturer.

Detach propeller shaft from output flange and place to one side.

 See information from body manufacturer.

Disconnect electrical connector (2) from transmission control unit (TCM).

Detach compressed-air line from compressed-air inlet (3) of transmission positioner.

 When detaching the compressed-air line, make sure that the filter screen does not get lost.
Replace seals and O-rings each time they are removed.

Disconnect transmission oil lines from transmission and seal using suitable plugs.

Detach transmission wiring harness, compressed-air line and transmission oil lines from brackets on transmission.

Remove screws (1) and detach transmission from engine.
