Danger! | Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury caused by brake fluid coming into contact with skin and eyes. | Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid. | |

1 | Open front flap | ||
2 | Connect connection line (1) of bleeder unit to expansion reservoir (2) | Electric brake fluid change/bleeder unit | |
3 | Switch on bleeder unit | Pay attention to manufacturer's operating instructions. | |
4 | Adjust bleed pressure on bleeder unit to 2 bar | ||
5 | Attach bleed hose (4) to bleed valve (3) of clutch booster (5) | ||
6 | Open bleeder valve (3) | Open the bleed valve (3) by at least 90°. Carry out bleeding process until the brake fluid escapes at the bleed hose (4) free of bubbles, in the process operate the clutch pedal several times. | |
7 | Close bleed valve (3) and detach bleed hose (4) | | |
8 | Check tightness of breather valve (3) | ||
9 | Switch off bleeder unit and detach connection line (1) from expansion reservoir (2) | The bleeder unit must be unpressurized; lower the pressure in the bleeder unit if necessary. | |
10 | Correct the brake fluid level in expansion reservoir (2) | ||
11 | Perform a function test | If the function of the clutch operating system is inadequate, repeat the bleeding operation. | |
12 | Close front flap | ||
13 | Perform minor teach-in process on control unit | Only on vehicles with code (GS2) Gear control. |
