Remove

 Caution

Risk of poisoning from swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury from skin and eye contact with brake fluid

Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.

Remove by suction the hydraulic actuation reservoir fluid

 Collect brake fluid in an appropriate container for ecologically correct disposal.

De-pressurize fully the vehicle's pneumatic system

Disconnect the pneumatic tubes from the connection (3) and put it aside

Disconnect the hydraulic tubes from the connection (2)



Check

Remove the four fastening bolts (4) and remove the complete slave cylinder (1)



Install

Install the slave cylinder (1) in the gearbox and tighten the four fastening bolts (4)

Connect the hydraulic tubes to the connection (2)

Connect the pneumatic tubes to the connection (3)

Pressurize the vehicle's pneumatic system up to the drive pressure

 Check leak-tightness at the pneumatic connection (3) with foam of neutral soap.

Supply again and bleed the clutch actuation hydraulic system

 Use the specified brake fluid.

Adjust the clutch disc wear indicator

 Before removing any slave cylinder (1) equipped with wear indicator (6), it is necessary to pay attention at the point of wear that the clutch disc is, what is pointed by the indicator rod. If the slave cylinder is removed and the clutch disc is not, the indicator (6) must be set at the same point it was prior to the cylinder removal (1) to indicate the real condition of the disc.

 If a new clutch disc is installed, the wear indicator must simply be "reset”.

Carry out a new test drive with the vehicle and check the clutch operation
