Engine lifting device (WBM 0307.02) for models 901.0/3/4, 902.0/3/4, 903.0/3/4 and 904.0/3/4 can be used together with retrofit kit 0307.00 also for 690.6, 901.6 up to 904.6.
Engine lifting device (WBM 0307.02) in combination with retrofit kit 0307.00 or
engine lifting device (WBM 0307.03)
for all models 690.6, 901, 902, 903 and 904.
Raising engine
1 Remove retaining clips at fan shroud (only engine 111).
Ensure clearance at fan.
2 Attach engine lifting device (9) to the vehicle by positioning engine lifting device (9) at the firewall, inserting into the hood lock (arrow) and attaching the shackle to the front engine lifting eye (arrow).
Ensure that no components are damaged when attaching the engine lifting device (9)!
3 Unscrew securing bolts (2 and 6).
4 Carefully raise engine with engine lifting device (9).
Pay attention to hoses and lines and fan!
Engine 611.981/983/987: raise at the most up to contact with cowling of air duct.
Raise engine 612.981 at the most until it makes contact with the firewall.
Lowering
5 Lower engine slightly onto the engine mounts (4 and 8), screw in the securing bolts (2 and 6) and tighten by hand until they make contact. Then, lower engine fully and tighten securing bolts (2 and 6) to the final torque.
Pay attention to tightening torque.
6 Take engine lifting device (9) off the vehicle.
7 Attach fan shroud to the radiator (only engine 111).
