Drain coolant from low-temperature circuit

Remove left cover

Remove right cover (11)

Detach coolant hoses (2, 3, 4) from radiator (1)

Detach coolant hose (5) from low-temperature circuit cooler

 Hose clamp pliers

Detach power steering expansion reservoir and place to one side with attached lines

Unclip refrigerant line (6) on carrier on A/C compressor

To do this press together retaining clamps (8) and unclip radiator (1) above on radiator support (7) in direction of engine

Take out radiator (1) with a helper in an upward direction

 Installation: Ensure elastomer bearings (10) and guides (9) for the radiator (1) on radiator support (7) is seated properly.



Check

Check elastomer bearings (10) for damage

If damage is present



Replace elastomer bearing (10).

Check cooler (1) for damage

If damage is present



Replace the cooler (1).

Install in the reverse order

 Danger !

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Carry out engine test run and check the engine cooling system for proper function and leaktightness
