Detach/attach clamp of coolant hose

Expand the tightening ear (2) of the clamp (1) with a proper tool, and open or separate the clamp (1).

 Do not damage the coolant hose (3).

Remove the clamp (1).

Slide a new clamp (1) on the coolant hose (3) or place it together with the coolant hose (3).

Do not fold the coolant hose (3).



Otherwise leakage may occur.

Align the new clamp (1), and position the  pliers (4) in the tightening ear (2) of the clamp (1).

Compress the tightening ear (2) with the  pliers (4) up to the stop (arrow).

 Compress the tightening ear (2) in the clamp (1) only
if the coolant hose (3) is placed on both sides.

 Remove the pliers (4).

 By opening the  pliers (4), the tightening ear (2) will open slightly (arrow).

Check the clamp (1) on the coolant hose (3) for the steady seating.
