Remove engine with front axle carrier

Remove screw/bolt (3) and shield (4) on coolant thermostat (1)

Installation: Replace shield (4).

Bolt, shield to thermostat housing

Detach coolant hoses (2) on coolant thermostat (1)

Remove screw/bolt of engine wiring harness (6) on crankcase and raise engine wiring harness (6) somewhat

Disconnect the electrical connection (7) to coolant thermostat (1)

Remove screw/bolts (5)

Bolt, thermostat housing to crankcase

Remove coolant thermostat (1) to the front

Installation: Replace seals.

Remove residues in bores (arrows)

9

Install in the reverse order
