Remove

Remove belt pulley/vibration damper

Remove oil pan

Remove bracket (4)

Remove oil suction pipe (5)

Remove guide tube (6)

Remove oil pump housing (1) with oil pump (9)


Do not damage sealing surfaces.
There is otherwise no assurance that the leaktightness of the oil pump housing (1) can be maintained.

Remove radial shaft sealing ring (3)

Remove the O-ring (7) on connection fitting



Check

Remove oil pump (9) from oil pump housing (1), disassemble and check for wear.

Only if the oil pressure is too low.

In the event of wear to the oil pump housing (1), oil pump drive, inner rotor (11) or outer rotor (10):



Replace oil pump (9) with the oil pump housing (1).

Check crankshaft (2) at the sealing surface for galling of the radial shaft sealing ring (3)

In case of galling:



Replace crankshaft (2).



Install

Install the O-ring (7) on connection fitting

Install oil pump housing (1) with oil pump (9)

 Coat sealing surfaces with sealant.
Align drive gear of oil pump drive with drive gear (8) of crankshaft (2).

Terostat 33 sealant

Place pilot bushing (12.2) on the crankshaft (2) and press in radial shaft sealing ring (3) using the drift (12.1)

 Install a new radial shaft sealing ring (3).
Dry radial shaft sealing ring (3) and press in evenly around the entire circumference.
The setback (A) of the radial shaft sealing ring (3) is specified by the  drift (12.1).

Install bracket (4)

 Ensure unstressed installation.



Clean

Clean sieve on oil suction pipe (5).

Install oil suction pipe (5)

 Ensure unstressed installation.

Install guide tube (6).

 Ensure unstressed installation.
