Remove the guide tube of the oil dipstick (7) and the bracket (8) in the oil suction tube (12)

 Installation: Install the oil level dipstick guide tube (7) and bracket (8) without tensioning, if necessary loosen the screws (9). After adjusting the dipstick guide tube (7) and bracket (8) tighten the bolts (11) and nuts (10).

Remove the suction pipe (12) from the oil pump (1)

Remove the bolts (2) in the oil pump (1)

Remove the oil pump (1) from the engine block


Be careful not to damage the seating surfaces.
Otherwise, deformations can be created on these surfaces as well as warping.

 Be careful not to damage the injector (14).

 Installation: Position the guide bushing (16) in the crankshaft flange. Turn the oil pump gear (1) until it engages with the oil pump drive gear (6) in the crankshaft. Install the oil pump (1) ensuring that it is perfectly positioned on the guide pins (3) and on the connection (5).

Clean the contact surfaces between the oil pump (1) and the engine block

 Installation: Apply sealant to the contact surface of the oil pump (1) and the engine block.

Replace oil pump retainer (14) (1)

 Installation: Remove retainer (14) with appropriate mandrel.

 Installation: Using the mandrel (15), install the new retainer (14), observing its correct positioning (see figure) to the oil pump (1).

Replace O-ring (4) on connection fitting (5)
