1 Remove rivet (1).
Remove rivet on alternator cover using suitable pliers.
2 Pull cover out of lug (2) of bracket.
It should be ensured that the cover does not get hooked up on the oil pan screwed connection(3).
3 Pull the eye of the cover over the adjusting nut (4).
4 Rotate the cover to one side and pull out between the axle tube (5) and frame-type integral support (6) (arrows).
5 Install in reverse sequence.
