Uninstall the reduction and drive gear unit.
In order to avoid damaging material, do not attempt to uninstall the drive shaft and clutch unit (C).

Remove pinion limiter (12).
Use a hammer and gently stroke the pipe (1).

Carefully remove the locking rings (35) in order not to scratch the drive shaft (15).
The pinion limiter ((12) and the locking rings (35) must be replaced at the assembly. Check the notch edge for burrs that may have been caused due to repeated starting cycles. In case of burrs, use a suitable sandpaper and remove them.

Remove the drive assembly (2) of the drive shaft (15).
Installation: Lubricate all gears in the assembly..

Remove the drive shaft bracket (17) of the drive shaft (15).

Remove the central bearing (10) of the drive shaft (15).
Remove bearing (10) only if replacement is required. Use a proper pin puller and sequentially strike the bearing (10) through the three holes in the drive shaft (15).
