2 | Remove vacuum hoses (1, 2) from bypass switchover valve on exhaust gas recirculation cooler (Y85) | Installation: Do not use any slide or lubricant when assembling the vacuum hoses (1, 2). Function impairments of the exhaust gas recirculation cooler bypass switchover valve (Y85) can occur otherwise. | |
Installation: Vacuum hoses (1, 2) have different diameters | |||
3 | Remove electrical connector (5) on exhaust gas recirculation cooler bypass switchover valve (Y85) | ||
4 | Remove bypass switchover valve on exhaust gas recirculation cooler (Y85) from bracket (4) in direction of arrow (arrow A) | Installation: Clean ventilation (3) | |
5 | Install in the reverse order | ||
6 | Read out fault memory, erase if necessary |
