Y27 EGR [ARF] switchover valve

Remove/install

Danger!

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.

Raise vehicle with vehicle lift

Loosen nuts (arrow), unscrew nut (3) and remove ARF switchover valve (Y27) until the electrical connection (2) is accessible

Disconnect electrical connector (2) at EGR [ARF] switchover valve (Y27)

Detach vacuum hoses (1) from EGR [ARF] switchover valve (Y27) and EGR [ARF] switchover valve (Y27)

Installation: Do not use any slide or lubricant when assembling the vacuum hoses (1). Function impairments of the ARF switchover valve (Y27) can occur otherwise.

Install in the reverse order

Read out fault memory, erase if necessary
