Remove/install engine brake cylinder for engine brake flap

Removing

Take off compressed air line (3) at engine brake cylinder (2)

Remove securing device (4) and unclip ball socket (5) on ball stud (6)

Remove engine brake cylinder (2) on bracket (1)

Install

Check ball stud (5) and ball socket (6) for wear

If worn:

Replace ball socket (5) or ball stud (6).

Attach engine brake cylinder (2) to holder (1)

Adjust engine brake cylinder (2) for engine brake flap

Coat ball stud (6) with heat-resistant lubricant

Paste

Clip ball socket (5) for engine brake cylinder (2) with pretension onto ball stud (6) and secure with securing device (4)
