Danger! | Risk of injury caused by body parts being pinched or crushed as cab is tilted | Ensure that no one is within the tilting range of the cab as it is being tilted. Always tilt the cab all the way to the end position and secure with the safety strut. | |
1 | Tilt cab | Installation: Only tilt cab back after leak test has been conducted. | |

2 | Remove side frame soundproofing from engine on left and right | ||
3 | Remove exhaust manifold (1) on turbocharger and cylinder heads | Installation: Observe installation position of the clamping sleeves (3). | |

4 | Remove gaskets (2) | Installation: Clean sealing surfaces and install new gaskets (2). Observe installation position of seals (2); "TOP" must point towards the exhaust manifold (1) or the lugs must be fixed in the free threaded holes in the cylinder heads. | |
5 | Install in the reverse order | ||
Danger! | Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running | Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. | |
6 | Start the engine and perform engine test run; check exhaust manifold (1) for leaks |
