1 Screw
2 Exhaust manifold
| Remove/install | ||
Danger! | Risk of injury. Skin or eye injuries may result when handling hot or glowing objects. | Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and (where necessary) safety glasses. | |
1 | Open the maintenance flap at the back on the left and the one at the tail | ||
2 | Remove charge air pipe | ||
3 | Detach the exhaust manifold at the turbocharger | Support the turbocharger. | |
4 | Detach lower engine compartment paneling | ||
5 | Detach the brackets (arrows) of the coolant pipe and of the oil lines of the turbocharger | The brackets are fixed with the screws of the exhaust manifold. | |
6 | Remove the screws (1) with sleeves | Installation: Ensure that the sleeves are fitted correctly. | |
7 | Detach the exhaust manifold (2) with the shield | Installation: Pay attention to the correct location of the shield between the cylinder head and exhaust manifold . | |
8 | Install in the reverse order |
